Drs. Ira V. Hilliard and Bridget Hilliard

Other pastors may have been intimidated by the sudden drop of membership from 300 to 23 members at the announcement the church would no longer be New Light Missionary Baptist Church and would reach out to two areas of Houston, but not Dr. Hilliard. With conviction that his instruction came from the Lord, Dr. Hilliard pursued that goal until it became a reality. The New Light World Outreach and Worship Centers are now established in North and South Houston and membership has grown exponentially.

Sammy Halloway, Ph.D.

As founder of Breath of Life Christian Center, Dr. Sammy Halloway is committed to strengthening the body of Christ through uniting church communities and training young ministers. Pastor, bridge builder, humanitarian, author and artist, conference speaker, broadcaster . . . the roles and compassion of T.D. Jakes are a road map to the ministries of his church in Dallas and the ways in which God uses him to touch lives far beyond.
