Billy Blanks, inventor of Taebo, was the honorary guest and degree recipient at the general commencement ceremonies held March 17, 2001.  Billy Blanks received an honorary Doctor of Spiritual and Physical Fitness degree for his extensive work in blending the physical body with the spiritual self.

We were pleased to have Billy Blanks as our key note speaker and participate in the commencement ceremony.  The success story he shared was one of integrity and persistence. He is indeed an inspirational man and a fine addition to the FICU alumni family.
